Hutches
All of our hutches can be made with an indoor or an outdoor roof. The indoor roofs are left as plain wood which breeders often prefer when their pets are kept in a garage, shed or animal room. The outdoor roofs are covered with a good quality felt to ensure they are rain-proof.
The ‘wired’ door on each hutch is ‘lift out’ and hinged this means you can gain easy access for feeding and petting using the hinged part of the door, and then the door easily lifts out so that you have a clear opening for sweeping out the bottom of the cage. Most doors can also be hinged to the sides if you prefer.
The floor of each hutch is treated with a bitumen product to help prevent animal waste penetrating the wood.
The leg lengths on most hutches can be increased/decreased as required. Some customers are tight on height space and request the legs are short, whereas other customers who buy the single cages prefer 12” legs to make it easier to feed, pet or clean their pet without too much bending!
All our hutches are delivered ‘made-up’ so no assembly is required. However if you would prefer ‘flat-pack’ this can be arranged and you should find assembly very easy.
